《岛上书店》双语读后感
每个人的一生中，都有着艰难的时刻，而只要我们还活着，只要我们心中有爱，便会将人生变得美好而广阔。《岛上书店》讲的就是这样一个故事。
《岛上书店》由美国作家Gabrielle Zevin 所著。书中的主人公A．J．费克里，人近中年，在一座与世隔绝的小岛上经营一家书店。命运给与他的是一连串的打击，爱妻去世，书店危机，藏书失窃。他的人生陷入困顿，他的内心一片荒芜。就在此时，一个女孩被丢弃在书店中，她的到来意外地拯救了陷于孤独绝境中的A．J．费里克，为他的生活带来了转机。主人公开始购进适合小孩子阅读的绘本，从妈妈们那里获得养儿育女的经验。他开始敞开心扉，开始学着接受和付出，并重新找到了爱人的勇气和能力。过去那个愤世嫉俗，刻薄孤僻的男人变成了一个平和善良的人，书店的经营也越来越好。
一座交通不便的小岛，客观上阻碍了主人公和外界的交流。而店主因为生活中的意外变故，处于人生低谷，更是主动关闭了和外界联结的心门。此时的他，仿佛处于一座没有人际联结的心灵孤岛之上。在故事中，让店主和其他人产生联结的，是一个空降而来的孩子。孩子的到来，打开了一扇扇心灵之门，给主人公的生活带来了改变。现实生活中，没有人可以永远的成为一座孤岛，人是社会性的动物，需要交流和慰藉。独自生活的难处，在于不论发生什么，都只能自己独自一人处理，没人会在意你的心烦意乱。所以不要拒绝来自外界的善意和美好。人生总是充满转机和变化的，祸兮福之所伏。
生活中，挫折总会有的，但那不意味着你是一个人，你可以求助，可以害怕，但就是不能封闭自己，不能停止交流。没有谁不会经历低谷，但只要身边有爱人相随，有时候只是一句安慰也能带你走出黑暗，化荆棘为坦途。
A．J．费里克在他生命的最后，对女儿玛雅说：我们不是我们所收集的、得到的、所读的东西，只要我们还活着，我们就是爱，我们所爱的事物，我们所爱的人。所有这些，我认为真的会存活下去。”
很遗憾故事的结尾不是那么美好，主人公A.J. 费里克因病去世，但是整本书给人的感觉依旧温馨。因为爱贯穿了书的全部：对书本的爱，对女儿的爱，对第二任妻子的爱，爱联结起了生命中的一切。而有所热爱，即是幸福。正如加思·斯坦所说的那样：爱与被爱的能力、付出与接受的意愿，能拯救陷于孤独绝境中的我们。

The Storied Life of A.J.Fikry was written by an American writer Gabrielle Zevin. The hero of the book A. J. Fikry, who was nearly middle-aged, ran a bookstore on an isolated island. What fate gave him was a series of blows, the death of his beloved wife, the crisis of the bookstore, and the theft of books. His life was trapped and his heart was barren. At this moment, a girl was abandoned in the bookstore, and her arrival unexpectedly saved A. J. Fikry, and brought a turning point in his life. He began to buy picture books suitable for children to read, and gained experience in raising children from mothers. He began to open out, learned to accept and give, and regained the courage and ability to love. The cynical, mean and solitary man now has changed into a peaceful and kind person. The bookstore is also getting better and better.
An island with inconvenient transportation obviously hindered the communication between the hero and the outside world. The shopkeeper was at the bottom of his life due to some misfortunes. So he actively closed the door to the outside world. At this time, he seemed to be on a spiritual island without interpersonal connection. In the story, a suddenly appeared child built connections for him with other people. The arrival of the child opened his mind and brought changes to the his life. In real life, no one can live an isolated life forever. People are social animals and need communications and comforts. The difficulty of living alone is that no matter what happens, you can only deal with it by yourself and no one will care about your frustration. So don't refuse the kindness and friendliness from the outside. Life is always full of opportunities and changes. Misfortune may be a blessing in disguise．
In life, there will always be setbacks, but that does not mean that you should solve them on your own. Instead, you can ask for help, you can be afraid, but you can’t close up and stop communicating. Everyone will experience the trough. But as long as you are loved, sometimes just a word of comfort can take you out of the darkness and turn the thorns into a smooth path.
At the end of his life, Fikry said to his daughter Maya, ‘We are not what we collect, get, or read. As long as we are alive, we are love, the things we love, and the people we love. All of these, I think they will really survive. " It is a pity that the end of the story is not so beautiful. A.J. Fikry died of illness, but the whole book still makes me feel warm. Because love runs through the entire book: the love for books, the love for daughters, and the love for the second wife. It’s love that connects everything in life. And to love is happiness. Just as Garth Stein said, ‘The ability to love and be loved, the willingness to give and accept can save us from a desperate situation.
